CERTIFIED GRADUATE REMODELER (CGR)
DJC is a Certified Graduate Remodeler. The CGR programs help consumers identify
remodelers who perform professional, quality work. CGRs have demonstrated their
commitment to excellence and professionals in the industry through continuing
education. When you hire a CGR you can expect an experienced professional
committed to quality. Remodeling is a service, not a commodity. The quality of
this service will determine your satisfaction with the finished project.
CERTIFIED GREEN PROFESSIONAL (CGP™)
DJC is a Certified Green Professional. The CGP is an exclusive designation
offered by the National Association of Home Builders, designed to teach
building industry professionals strategies for incorporating green building
principles into homes using cost-effective and affordable options. Requirements
include 24 hours of classroom instruction, industry experience and adherence to
the CGP Code of Ethics. To maintain CGP status, designees are required to
complete 12 hours of continuing education every three years.
CERTIFIED AGING-IN-PLACE SPECIALIST(CAPS)
DJC is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist. Aging in place means remaining in
one's home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age, income or
ability level. To age-in-place you will probably need to modify your house as
you mature to increase access and maneuverability. These modifications range
from the installation of bath and shower grab bars and adjustment of countertop
heights to the creation of multifunctional first floor master suites and the
installation of private elevators.
CERTIFIED LEAD RENOVATOR
DJC is a Certified Lead Renovator. As of April 2010, contractors disturbing
more than 6 square feet of surface in any home built prior to 1978 must be
certified by the EPA (Federal Government) as a Lead Certified Renovator and
provide homeowners with a copy of "The Renovate Right" pamphlet and
follow lead safe work practices.

(click here). What this means for you is that you, your suppliers, designers,
friends, family and associates may view your blueprints and specifications from
any computer anywhere. Need tile, cabinets, window treatments, flooring room
sizes, or any other dimension of specification? Just log on; it's that easy.
BEST WARRANTY IN THE BUSINESS
We offer the 2-10 home buyers or remodelers warranty as an option. This is
additional coverage available for up to 10 years through a third party
insurance company to give you peace of mind long after standard warranties may
expire.
